The Township of North Kawartha Council and staff meet today (January 11th) at Council Chambers to discuss and prepare the 2011 budget. The first presentation will be at 9:30am by Fire Chief Max McCauley who is planning to spend about $669,000 in 2011, a much needed reduction from the $886,000 spent the previous year.
